More than 4,600 customers of Entergy New Orleans lost power Monday morning, largely in the Lower 9th Ward and Holy Cross neighborhoods. Some outages extended across the Industrial Canal and into Bywater. Entergy had power restored to most customers by 3 p.m.

Entergy reported about 10,500 are without power in the Treme, and the Seventh Ward. Parts of Gentilly and St. Roch were also affected. Power as been turned back on for all but 2400. Temperatures were expected to dip into the 30s tonight.

About 13,000 Entergy customers lost power mid-afternoon on Tuesday. The outages effected mainly Tremé, Faubourg Marigny, the Bywater and Desire areas and Gentilly. Most were reconnected within a half hour, with many outages remaining in Tremé.
