We know Drew Brees won’t be playing Sunday against the Seahawks, but who will be taking his place as the Saints starting quarterback isn’t a clear but as previously believed.

When asked about how much Taysom Hill’s snaps on special teams and in the offense need to be monitored now that he is Teddy Bridgewater’s backup, Coach Sean Payton made it clear he isn’t set on just one QB yet.

“I think you do, and that’s you making the assumption he’s the #2,” answered Payton. “We’ll approach this game with two quarterbacks and will see where we are at with it.  But, we’ll have the right plan relative to what those guys will be doing.”

Does that mean Payton won’t name a starting QB until Sunday?

“I’m more apt to not make any announcements. It’s just typically what we don’t do.”

That team will be practicing at the University of Washington leading up to Sundays’ contest against the Seahawks.  The portion of the workouts the media gets to see if limited, but we will keep you posted as to which single caller appears to be the leader in the clubhouse to get the starting nod. Who would you go with? Teddy or Taysom?
