Sean Payton is buried in game planning for the San Francisco 49ers, but he’s also thinking about you, Who Dat Nation. As head coach of the Saints, he has to think about everything.

“Is it going to be loud? Can we be louder?” Payton wondered about a noon kickoff Sunday. “Does the crowd realize how much of an impact they can have? Do they truly realize that?”

The communication issues that fans can cause is apprenticed greatly.

“If you were trying to physically measure it. It's somewhere between a half second and little less than that. Just a tick slower for the visiting team,” Payton explained.

This will be Jimmy Garoppolo’s first Superdome experience.  He first came into the league as a 2nd round pick in 2014 and ended up starting for the Patriots during Tom Brady’s 4 game suspension in  2016. The next year he was traded to San Francisco and went 7–0 in his first seven starts, making him the first QB to accomplish that since Ben Roethlisberger in 2004.

The Garoppolo era in San Fran got derailed in week 3 last year though. He suffered a torn ACL and would miss the rest of the season.  In 12 games this season he is completing 69% of his passes for 2,896 yards 21 TDs and 10 INTs. Jimmy GQ has also rushed for 46 yards and a score.
