There will be a new cornerback at Saints practice this week. The team claimed Janoris Jenkins after the NY Giants waived him giving the Black & Gold another player for their secondary.

“It's always a difficult position to find,” said Saints head coach Sean Payton. “He's a guy that I can recall going through the evaluation process when he was a free agent and going to New York. So we’ve played the Giants twice since then. He gives us versatility and I think that's important here down the stretch.”

Hard to believe, but just 2 games remain in the regular season. The Saints are on the road to close things out before the postseason begins and they find themselves heading to 9-6 Tennessee this Sunday. 2012 1st round draft pick Ryan Tannehill has revived his career with the Titans.  He’s looked like a completely different quarterback from his first 6 years in the league with Miami completing 71.5% of his passes for 2,272 yards, 17TD and 6 INTs.

“He’s playing real well right now,” Payton said about Tannehill’s resurgence with Tennessee. “They are 6-2 with him as their starter and they've been relative to the big plays. Every week on a Monday I'll come in and look at every touchdown scored in the NFL. It'll start on the one yard line. So, you see all the goal line plays and the reel will be sorted closest to longest.  So, this this reel will go to the 2, the 5, the 10 and then pretty soon, the last play I watch will be the longest touchdown of the weekend. And, I would say every week I've seen either a long run by their runner for a touchdown, a big, quick strike play action pass. They’ve done a nice job.”

Running back Derick Henry has been a beast for Fantasy Football owners.  He’s scored rushing 13 TDs on the year and has 2 more receiving. Henry is tough to bring down at 6ft3, 247 pounds and is averaging an impressive 4.8 yards per carry.
