Still no word from Drew Brees on his plan for next season. Will the 41-year old QB be back in Black & Gold or opt to step away from football for family and other endeavors? If he does decide to retire, it is not because he feels the Saints aren't a Super Bowl contender.

"I don't know about the window closing, I think we are in the window right now," Brees told USA Today Sports. "That's the way I would phrase it. We are in the window. So yeah, we've got a great opportunity."

Hearing 'we are in the window' and 'we've got a great opportunity' sure makes it sound like Brees will be back for a 20th NFL season. He even said in an interview on PFT Live he would be fine with Taysom Hill being more involved in the offense.

"If I’m back and Taysom is there alongside me, call the plays that are going to put us in the best position to win," Brees said.  "And, if that means Taysom Hill is taking 30 snaps a game, 25 snaps a game, so be it. I’m all for that."
