ESPN’s Field Yates tweeted that the Saints and cornerback Janoris Jenkins have hammered out a reworked deal that saves the franchise some coveted cap space.

The 31-year old was added to the Saints roster in week 16 of last season and finished with one interception and 2 passes defensed in 2 games played in Black & Gold. Then, in the postseason, the man nicknamed "Jackrabbit" punched the ball loose against the Minnesota Vikings in the Wild Card game.

Jenkins alongside Marshon Lattimore, forms one of the best corner tandems in the NFL.
