After auditioning a number of cornerbacks last week, the Saints have signed free agent Kayvon Webster. The 28 year old was a 3rd round pick of the Broncos in 2013 and has also played for the Rams and Texans. He has never apperared in more than 11 games in a season and has 15 starts in his 6 year career with 109 tackles, 2 interceptions and one forced fumble. Webster finished last year in Houston on injured reserve due to multiple leg injuries.

The 5ft11, 194 lbs. corner played college ball at the University of South Florida, where he also was a sprinter. Webster will be competing for snaps in a crowded CB group that has Marshon Lattimore, Eli Apple, Patrick Robinson, PJ Williams along with Justin Hardee, Marcus Sherels and Ken Crawley.

Mandatory minicamp opens Tuesday and runs through Thursday at the Saints facility in Metairie.  Practice sessions will be open to the public (weather permitting) starting at 11am, gates open at 10:15am.
