Next man up. We’ve heard that a lot this Saints season and the team has found a way to earn a 9-2 record. Left tackle is the latest spot where depth will be checked.  Terron Armstead left Sunday’s victory with an ankle injury and the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport Tweets that he is dealing with a high-ankle sprain. Armstead will be out Thursday night in Atlanta and likely more.

There’s already a man down in the o-line trenches on the left side with Andrus Peat out. Free agent acquisition Nick Easton has taken over the left guard role the past 2 games. Patrick Omameh filled in at left tackle during Sunday's win over Carolina.  He’s in his 7th season and was signed by the Saints in the summer.

Short week has the Saints spending Thanksgiving with the Falcons. The Dirty Birds are 3-8 and coming off a home loss to Tampa. If the Black & Gold can eat well in the ATL and get a win, they will secure the title of 2019 NFC South champions.
