The NFL’s preseason was trimmed down from four games to two, but we could end up with no games at all. The NFL Players Association is pushing for teams to play zero exhibition contests in order to give players enough time to get into game shape for the regular season since there weren’t any minicamps or OTA’s due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Meanwhile, teams have been given a list of protocols they need to follow for training camp and the preseason. Commissioner Roger Goodell sent out a 40-page document to explain the details, which included a breakdown about how to deal with anyone who tests positive for Covid-19.

The Saints are expected to start training camp on July 28. The first two days will be dedicated to medical examinations and getting players 'acclimated into the teams’ facility.
