Jermon Bushrod rejoined the Saints this past season and was a valuable fill-in along the offensive line, especially while left tackle Terron Armstead missed time due to injury. Bushrod had some ailments of his own as he battled through a hamstring issue, but the 34 year old showed off a thumb injury on Twitter that might make you cringe.

Bushrod was drafted by the Saints in the 4th round in 2007. He played in New Orleans for 5 seasons before going to Chicago, then Miami.  He came back this year on a one year contract and we’ll have to wait and see if he returns for another shot at raising the Lombardi trophy. He was on the Saints 2009 Super Bowl squad and coincidentally next year’s big game is going to be hosted by Miami.
