Saints new TE does not practice, to be released

Newly acquired tight end Erik Swoope did not practice for the Saints today. He was claimed off waivers after the Colts released him. The injury report reveled he has a knee injury and will have a very short stay in New Orleans.

Coach Sean Payton did say today that brining WR Brandon Marshall back was a possibility. 

Also on the injury report were T Terron Armstead (pectoral), S Kurt Coleman (elbow), G Andrus Peat (ankle/shoulder), and T Ryan Ramczyk. They were all limited.

For the Panthers 6 players did not practice:

S Mike Adams (rest/wrist)

T Chris Clark (knee) 

LB Thomas Davis (rest)

K Graham Gano (left knee) 

S Rashaan Gaulden (illness)

DE Julius Peppers (rest)

Meanwhile, QB Cam Newton (right shoulder) & DT Kawann Short (calf) were limited
