The Cardinals came out the gates a little sluggish under new head coach Kilff Kingsbury. But, after going 0-3-1 to start the season, Arizona has heated up and won three in a row.

“They're going to spread you out,” said Saints head Coach Sean Payton. “You're going to have to play well in space. The last three weeks, they haven't had a turnover. They ran the ball well last week. I think that, it's the work during the week and simulating some of these runs. But, I think they're doing a real good job here. I mean, you look at the last three games, and you're seeing a different team.”

The top overall pick in this years’ draft, Kyler Murray, has been getting more comfortable with life in the NFL.  After tossing 4 TDs with 4 INTS in the Cards first four games, he has been much smarter with the ball throwing 3 TDs with no interceptions.

Murray is also a threat to run. He has racked up 266 yards on the ground getting into the endzone 2 times.

“This guy's unique though,” said Payton when asked about facing another mobile QB. “He's hard to pin down. He's got an extremely talented arm. He can get the ball down the field. He's near the top 10 in the league in completions of 20 plus yards, 10 plus yards. So, the key is just getting a good week of preparation for it.”

Murray is a fresh face in the league, but has an ageless wonder helping him at wide receiver.  Larry Fitzgerald Jr. is in his 16th year in the NFL, and the 36 year old is still a handful to deal with.

“He plays in the slot. He's a tremendous blocker. He's got great instincts and strong hands in traffic,” Payton said about the strengths of Fitz. “When it comes to the third downs, in the grit plays, this is something that that he's excelled at throughout his career. He's physical, he's not afraid of contact. He does a real good job yards after the catch.”

Fitzgerald has 36 grabs for 439 yards and 2 TDs this season. He is 210 catches behind Jerry Rice for most career receptions all-time.
