No Saints Sunday in week 6 since it is a bye for the Black & Gold. They are the 2nd best team in the NFC currently at 4-1, trailing only the undefeated LA Rams. Getting off to a good start in 2018 was really necessary for New Orleans since their toughest stretch of games lies ahead following the break.

The record of the Saints first five opponents is a combined 8-11-1, while their next five are a tad tougher with a 17-8-1 mark. The Black & Gold’s 1st contest back is on the road against Baltimore at 3:05pm on October 21st. Mr. Record Setter, Drew Brees, has never earned a victory against the Ravens. They happen to be the only team in the NFL he doesn’t have a win against. Since the Saints do not play Baltimore often this could be the 39 year old’s last chance to get ‘er done.

Brees is 0-4 against Baltimore in his career tossing 9 TDs vs. 8 INTs and is completing just 64% of his passes.   The last loss ended 34-27 back in 2014.

This year’s Ravens squad is 3-2 with a 2-0 record at home. Their wins came against the Bills, Broncos and at the Steelers.  Baltimore is on the road to take on 3-2 Tennessee this Sunday and own the 3rd best overall defense in the NFL and the 11th best offense.

The Saints look to keep their roll on next Sunday, when they go for their 5th straight victory.
