Quarterbacks don’t really play against each other.  But, when Tampa Bay signed Tom Brady, thoughts of him and Drew Brees meeting TWICE this season added fuel to every football fan's fire.  The 2020 NFL schedule release poured kerosene on top of that. making Brady’s 1st game as a Buccaneer set to take place week 1 in the Mercedes Benz Superdome.

Brees holds a 3-2 record over Brady in their career match-ups; two of the wins came when he was with the San Diego Chargers. The duo are also close, when it comes to the NFL record books.

Brees has the most passing yards (77,416), completions (6,867) and touchdown passes (541) in league history, while Brady is right behind him in second place in all three categories.

Tom comes out on top in a big way though, when it comes to hardware.  Brady owns 6 Super Bowl rings and is a 3 time NFL MVP, while Brees has hoisted the Lombardi Trophy once and has never been named the league’s most valuable player.

Now, two of the best to ever play QB are in the same division with the first matchup scheduled for 3:25pm on September 13th.
