The 11-3 Saints were back on the practice field on Wednesday getting ready for week 16 at 8-6 Tennessee. Safety Vonn Bell (knee) remained out with a knee injury and was joined by Guard Larry Warford (knee) and safety CJ Gardner-Johnson who both went to locker room during Monday’s victory and did not return.

Good news is linebacker Kiko Alonso (quad) and Guard Andrus Peat (forearm) were limited.  Both players got hurt in games against the Falcons.  Peat in week 10, while Alonso’s was Week 13 on Thanksgiving in Atlanta. Tackles Terron Armstead (ankle) and Ryan Ramczyk (knee) along with corner Patrick Robinson (calf) were also limited participants.

The Saints also made a roster move, signing DJ Swearinger.   The 28 year old safety has played for Arizona and Oakland this season and was cut by the Raiders last week. Swearinger made 48 tackles in eight games. He takes TJ Green’s spot, who was waived after getting promoted to the active roster ahead of Monday’s night.
