LISTEN: LSU career hits leader Antoine Duplantis on making school history

LSU's 6-4 win over Southern Miss was a historical night for the Bayou Bengals.  Not only did the Tigers earn their 24th NCAA Regional title, but outfielder Antoine Duplantis became the school's all-time hits leader.

A single in the first inning broke Eddy Furniss' 21 year old school record to make the senior the “King of Swing” for the Purple & Gold.

“It was crazy, something I will never forget,” said Duplantis.  “At that moment, honestly, it was just a sigh of relief just to get it out of the way. Now, looking back on it and I’m sure looking back on it in years to come I will be able to appreciate how great of a moment it was.”

He would add another single in the seventh inning for hit No. 354.
