The LSU football season is right around the corner, and one of the summer traditions is the LSU Coaches Caravan barnstorming around the state to meet with fans and the media to lay out their vision for the upcoming season.

Head coach Ed Orgeron joined WWL Radio's Bobby Hebert, Deuce McAllister, and Kristian Garic during the event at Walk-On's in Metairie.  Orgeron spoke at length about his vision for the Tigers this season, but started off by reflecting on a surprising 10-win campaign last season, something he says was more impressive than people may realize.

"We had to block out the noise.  There was a lot of stuff going on out there," Orgeron said, while mentioning a littany of Tigers' injuries.  "To win 10 games with that football team was a great step for LSU.  It's not where we want to be but I think it was an outstanding season, and it puts us in position for another outstanding season this year."

Orgeron went on to speak about the team's newly found depth, the star-studded incoming recruiting class, the situation at quarterback, and much more.  Watch Coach O's entire conversation in the video below.
