Sure, it's still nearly three months away from preseason games but it's never too early to update our NFL Power Rankings.   The WWL Sports crew all weighed in with their way-too-early Top 10.

Just twelve different teams received votes, showing agreement about who is at the top of the league.  It's no surprise that the defending champs begin as our unanimous #1.

Here's the cumulative rankings, with votes tallied from Bobby Hebert, Deuce McAllister, Kristian Garic, Seth Dunlap, and Steve Geller.   To see how each voted, scroll down below.

NFL Power Rankings: Way-Too-Early Top 10

1. Philadelphia Eagles:  The received all five first place votes, and are favorites to repeat as NFC Champions.

2. Minnesota Vikings:  Will Kirk Cousins prove to be enough of an upgrade over Case Keenum to take the Vikings to the promise land?

3. New England Patriots:  It may be a bit of a dysfuncational offseason for the Pats, but does anybody really think they can't once again reign supreme in the AFC?

4. New Orleans Saints:  The Saints should once again be contenders in the NFC.  Pivotal games at home against the Eagles and Rams could prove decisive in terms of playoff seeding, and home field advantage.

5.  Los Angeles Rams:  Superteam?  Maybe.  But our crew thinks the Rams still have to prove it on the field first, after a disappointing first round playoff exit last season.

6.  Jacksonville Jaguars:  That defense will still likely be the NFL's best, but the quarterback is still Blake Bortles.

7.  Pittsburgh Steelers:  It's rare to see a preseason power rankings with the Steelers this far down the list, but our voters think the Steelers may have not done enough this offseason to close the gap with Jacksonville and New England in the conference.

8. Atlanta Falcons:  Those dirty birds should be nipping at the Saints heels in the NFC South.  At least, that's what we hope.  It's preferrable to the Saints nipping at their heels.

9. Green Bay Packers:  Yes, Aaron Rodgers is healthy again.  However the NFC is ridiculously loaded and even Superman might not be enough for Green Bay.

10.  Los Angeles Chargers:  A trendy pick in Vegas right now, the Chargers also sneak into the Top 10 with three voters placing them on their list.

Also receiving votes:  Houston Texans, Kansas City Chiefs
