The New Orleans Saints dominated in a convincing 51-14 win against the Cincinnati Bengals.

The win was the Saints' eighth straight, and kept them at the top of the NFC standings with just one loss.  The Rams (8-1) also entered the day with just one loss, but have one more win.

Former Saints quarterback Bobby Hebert couldn't find enough good things to say about the New Orleans' rout.

"We've got enough stats and positive notes for three games," Hebert exclaimed during the Point After Show on the Saints Radio Network.

"The Saints are that good.  It's almost like you're playing a video game.  It's like, no that's no realistic.  It's like you're playing a video game.  That's realistic."

The Saints racked up 509 yards of total offense, including 244 yards rushing.   They also had 33 first downs on 74 offensive plays.   It was a thorough dismantling of a team that's in position to make a playoff run in the AFC.

"To lay to rest, all of you Cincinnati mid-westerners . . . now Cincinnati is a nice town. Listen, they all of the sudden, "Who Dey?" Hebert said, questioning Cincinnati's riff on 'The Who Dat Nation.'

"What the hell is Who Dey?  There's no such thing as the Who (Dey) Nation.  Who Dey Nation is a fake nation. Who DAT nation is the real nation.  I can tell you one thing, this is the Saints heyday!"

The one Saints player who didn't get a lot of work was punter Thomas Morstead, who didn't punt for the second time this season.

"It just goes to show you, do you all notice Thomas Morstead on the sideline. . .he's warming up to hold the ball," Hebert said.  "Because he's not punting.  Again, he has zero punts!"

The Saints come home to face the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles next Sunday in the Superdome.
