Saints fans had a brief panic when Michael Thomas was reported to have a knee injury that kept him out of practice earlier this week.  The second year wide receiver returned to the practice field today, allaying any worries that this may be a more serious injury.

New Orleans is in relatively spectacular health at this point of the season, as their Thursday injury report would suggest.   Only right guard Larry Warford (abdomen) was listed as out, with Thomas and left tackle Terron Armstead (shoulder) listed as limited.   This continues a severe change of fortunes for a franchise that has been riddled by the injury bug over the previous few seasons.

Contract that with their opponent on Sunday, the Chicago Bears.  They listed 11 players on their daily injury report, with six players not participating including receivers Markus Wheaton and Dontrelle Inman, although Inman's injury was non injury related.

The Saints head towards Sunday's clash as heavy favorites over the Bears, looking to remain in first place in the NFC South with a victory.
