The Beatles first hit American pop culture 55 years ago next month and the phenomenon they created lives on.  The Baby Boomer generation was the first young generation to witness The Beatles, but their popularity is still alive today because younger generations

have come to love and appreciate their music that has proven to be timeless.

Friday, January 11 at 8:00 pm and Saturday, January 12 at 7:30 pm, Liverpool Legends - the Complete Beatles Experience will be on stage at the Jefferson Performing Arts Center.  The Liverpool Legends are made up of four guys who closely resemble John, Paul, George and Ringo and it was George Harrison’s sister who personally selected each member for their visual likeness to each of The Beatles, but also for their ability to musically replicate the sound of the Fab Four.

Scoot met up with the guy who is “George” in the Liverpool Legends, who was in New Orleans in advance of their two shows this weekend.  Not only does he look like George, but he talked to Scoot about the studying that went into perfecting the actual sound of The Beatles.

When asked why The Beatles are still so popular today - his answer was similar to the answers many give as to why every generation appreciates The Beatles.
