According to Nick Underhill of the Advocate the Saints are shopping veteran corner back Delvin Breaux. The Advocate says the team is frustrated with his injury status over the last three years.  Breaux missed 9 games last season with a broken fibula and has missed a bulk of training camp this year with a leg injury.  He was the teams best corner back in 2015 after signing with the Saints from the CFL.

The idea of trading Breaux is interesting considering the lack of proven depth the team has at the position. Breaux is scheduled to become a restricted free agent after the season and carry's a modest $615,000 base salary this year, which is more than affordable. If this trade happens the likely starters Ken Crawley, De'Vonte Harris, Marshon Lattimore, and P.J Williams are all under three years in the league.

Breaux would be attractive to other teams, given the potential he has, but from a team standpoint I'm not so sure I'd make this move.  Breaux is still your best cornerback and Sean Payton often points out availability is an important factor in making the team, but I think a little more patience should be in order for the Saints.
