CBs Lattimore, Crawley ruled out Sunday vs. Rams

The Saints will be without their top two cornerbacks Sunday against the Rams.  CB Ken Crawley (abdomen) & Marshon Lattimore (ankle) will not play in Los Angeles.

Not having both cornerbacks is a significant hit to an already depleted defense that lost DE Alex Okafor for the season with a torn Achilles.  The Black & Gold are riding an eight game winning streak, but that streak looks to be in serious peril with the amount of injuries on defense. The Saints are 2.5 point underdogs as it is.  The prospect of facing Jarred Goff and the high flying Rams offense without their top two CB's is challenging.

"You have to get Kenny Vaccaro back,” says WWL’s Deuce McAllister.  “The Saints are going to be shuffling the seconday . . .P.J Williams, and Sterling Moore will be featured a little more.  I would expect the Saints to play a lot of four safety looks.  Rafael Bush has to have a big influence in this game.”

The Saints play the Rams Sunday at 3:25 p.m. central.  Listen for the home team “the voice of the Saints,” Jim Henderson, color analyst Deuce McAllister & sideline reporter, Kristian Garic, on WWL Radio 105.3fm/870am.
