“I don’t hate Atlanta; I HATE the Cowboys! This game means more to me than last week. I know the Falcons are the Saints biggest rival in the NFC South, but I grew up hating the Cowboys.” - Bobby Hebert

Typically you don’t start a story with a quote, but when the Cajun Cannon Bobby Hebert blasts off like that, you can break the rules. If you don’t believe Bobby, he has the t-shirt to prove how much he hates the team he refers to as the “Cowgirls.”

Here are the Cannon’s three keys to a Saints victory over the Cowboys.

Get the football: “First and foremost, it’s winning the turnover battle. The Saints have forced 16 turnovers the past eight games. The first three games of the season the Saints only forced one turnover.” New Orleans is +8 in the takeaway/ giveaway ration for the season. That aggression and production has to continue.

Stop Zeke: The game plan for the Cowboys will be simple according to Hebert. “Keep the Saints offense off the field. Don’t let Drew Brees turn it into a fast pace game. So the Saints have to contain running back Ezekiel Elliot and force quarterback Dak Prescott to beat you. If the Saints slow down Elliot and get a big lead early, Prescott will make some mistakes in the passing game.”

Red zone offense vs red zone defense: The Cowboys have the 5th best red zone defense in the NFL, and Bobby Hebert says the Black & Gold CAIN’T let them stop our potent offense. “The Saints have to score touchdowns in the red zone, when they get the chance against the Dallas. If the Saints are settling for field goals, that will not be a good sign for the Saints,” insisted the Cajun Cannon.

Prediction: Saints 30 - Cowboys 20. The Saints are favored by 7.5 points over Dallas.
