Deke's NFL Top 10 - Week 15

Are we heading for an all Pennsylvania Super Bowl?  Could three teams from the NFC South land in the playoffs?  Can the Vikings play in their own stadium on Super Sunday?  And the Chargers of Los Angeles are as hot as any team in the NFL going 7-2 in their last nine games.  Here goes this week's top 10!
1. Philadelphia Eagles – The Eagles are legit.  But now can there former starting QB lead the Eagles to Super Bowl?  Nick Foles is as good of a back-up as any team can have.  But Eagles only want a Lombardi and not talk!  Last week beat LA Rams 43-35 / this week vs New York Giants

2. Pittsburgh Steelers – Pittsburgh has been building up this week’s game versus the Pats for over a month.  Hey, this is a big game.  But when these two meet again is the one that really matters.  Last week beat Baltimore 39-38/this week vs New England.

3. New England Patriots – Hey the loss to the Dolphins really doesn’t matter as long as the Pats beat the Berg this weekend.  New England has owned the Steelers.  Will it happen again?  Last week lost Miami 20-27/ this week @ Pittsburgh.

4. Minnesota Vikings – The Vikings slipped up in Charlotte but are still in great shape to land in one of the top two spots in the NFC.  Last week lost to Carolina 24-31/ this week vs Cincinnati

5. Los Angeles Rams – The Rams put up plenty enough offense but it was the Rams Defense that fell apart.  No time to worry because an angry group of Seabirds are ready in Seattle.  Last week lost to Philadelphia 35-43/ this week @ Seattle.

6. New Orleans Saints – Did the Saints get unfairly treated in the ATL?  You bet.  But this is big boy football.  Get ready for the NY Jets is the main thing to do right now.  Last week lost to Atlanta 17-20 / this week vs New York Jets.

7.  Carolina – I think the Panthers will run the table and finish 12-4.  But if the Saints have that same record Carolina would be a Wild-Card!  Last week beat Minnesota 31-24/this week vs Green Bay.

8.  Jacksonville – The Jaguars are back in first place and can still land as one of the top two seeds in the AFC.  I don’t think anyone is going to want to play this team in the post season.  Last week beat Seattle 30-24 / this week vs Houston.

9. Atlanta – The Dirty Birds got some home cooking for sure last week.  Even with that win over the Saints right now it looks as if the ATL will have to win out to be in the playoffs.  Last week beat New Orleans 20-17 / this week @ Tampa Bay.

10 Los Angeles Chargers – After a 0-4 start the Bolts of L.A. are 7-2 in their last nine games.  Now they take on the Chiefs with the AFC West Title on the line!  QB Phillip Rivers is like a fine wine as he gets better as he ages!  Last week beat Washington 30-13 / this week @ Kansas City.
