Goodbye Sooners, Wolverines.  And hello to the Cougs, and the team with three mascots Plainsmen, War Eagle and Tigers.  And wouldn’t you know that those that say the SEC is down they have 3 in the Top 10 this week!  Here's this week’s best 10!

1. Alabama – RTR!  - Hey everyone, YES even Bama is allowed a not so good day at the office.  The Tide still won and now go back home to take on the Hogs!  Last week beat Texas A&M 27-19 / this week vs Arkansas.
2. Clemson – Freshman RB Travis Etienne just continues to lead the Tigers.  TE had 67 yards and another solid day for their Tigers.  Last week beat Wake Forest 28-14/ this week @ Syracuse.
3. Penn State – The Lions got 245 passing yard s from QB Trace McSorley while RB Saquon Barkley scored twice.  But it has been Lions Defense that  has turned up the heat on opponents.  Penn State is allowing only 9 points per game, and they have two shutouts and 7 points in another game.  Last week beat Northwestern 31-7/ this week vs Michigan.
4. Georgia –  UGA is rolling right now to the tune of 549 yards of offense including 423 on the ground.  RB’s Sony Michel (12-150 1 TD) and the “Chubbster” Nick Chubb rushed for 138 yards and 2 TD’s.  This team is rolling. And they look like the class of the East.  Last week beat Vanderbilt 45-14/ this week vs Missouri.
5. Washington – The Huskies and QB Jake Browning are just coasting right along TCB.  But could this year’s Apple Cup Winner be a winner take all type game?  Looks like it right now!  Last week Cal /this week @ Arizona State.
6. Wisconsin – Badgers RB Jonathan JT Taylor is playing some serious smash mouth football.  Taylor had a game high 240 yards and 2 TD’s.   For the season Taylor has 758 yards rushing and 9 TD’s.  AND HE’’S A FRESHMAN!  Last week beat Nebraska 38-17/ this week vs Purdue.
7. TCU – The Horned Frogs now own the title as lone legit playoff contender in the Big XII.  You know I would assume that both Oklahoma is pulling for the Frogs to keep winning and be as highly ranked as they can when they show up on their schedule.  Last week West Virginia 31-24/ this week @ Kansas State.
8. Ohio State – The Buckeyes got another big day from QB J.T. Barrett 26 yards passing and 3TD’s while RB J.K Dobbins chipped in 96 yards and 1 TD in a big win over the Terps.  Now a looks like tougher than expected at first date in Lincoln against the Corn Shuckers Last week beat Maryland 62-14/ this week @ Nebraska.
9. Auburn - The Tigers Offense has come alive.  After scoring 41-14-24 points their first three games, the Tigers have exploded for 51-49-44 in each of their last three games.  RB Kerryon Johnson gashed the Rebels for 204 yards and 3 TD’s.  Now Auburn can take complete control of the rest of the West with the exception of Big Mamma from the same state!  Last week beat Ole Miss 44-23/this week @ LSU.
10. Washington State - I’ve long said that Mike Leach is one of the three most underrated coaches in CFB over the last 15 years.  How many coaches build a national contender in Lubbock and Pullman?  And sorry  Sam I am Darnold, but Luke Faulk is the best QB in the Pac-12 this season.  Fall has already thrown for over 2,000 yards 19 TD’s and just 2 INT’s.  Watch out this week.  A dangerous Cal Team awaits in Berkley.  Last week beat Oregon 33-10/this week @ Cal.
