What are the best games to play with family and friends?  That became the discussion today after we started talking about the nominees for the National Toy Hall of Fame.

We were looking over the finalists list and noticed that several were games:

American Girl Dolls
Chutes and Ladders
Fisher-Price Corn Popper
Magic 8 Ball
Masters of the Universe Toys
Tickle Me Elmo
Tudor Electric Football

It got me thinking about great times with my wife and kids playing games like Chutes and Ladders, Tic-Tac-Toe and UNO.  We are big fans of Rummikub, Pictionary, Monopoly (though we rarely finished a game). Connect Four, Yahtzee, UNO, Mastermind, Go Fish and more recently Cards Against Humanity (now that my kids are all teens or older).

In my own childhood; I remembered great times playing Candyland, Chutes and Ladders, Clue, Sorry, Mouse Trap, Life, Monopoly, Battleship and Parcheesi.

So, I put the question to the audience.  What are the best games of all time?
