The New Orleans Saints added wide receiver Brandon Marshall.  Deuce McAllister said his addition brings experience to the wide receiver group, and Bobby Hebert echoed those thoughts.

“This signing is very similar to the Dez Bryant signing.  They’re trying to add more depth and more experience with Brandon Marshall.  The Saints are giving an opportunity to a guy who’s put up skins on the wall in the past to play with a quarterback like Drew Brees,” said the Cajun Cannon.

Hebert says the Saints won’t expect Marshall to come in and see a lot of targets,

“Brandon Marshall won’t be the magic formula for the Saints to pass more.  He’ll just be another option, another weapon for Drew Brees.  They just need Marshall to step up and be a top 3 or 4 pass catcher, because right now, it seems like Michael Thomas is the #1 and the #2 option.”

Michael Thomas leads the team with 78 receptions.  Running back Alvin Kamara is second with 55.  No other wide receiver has more than 12 catches.
