LSU will be in purple as the Tigers head to the Music City to face the Vanderbilt Commodores Saturday at 11 a.m. CT.

LSU head coach Ed Orgeron said on Wednesday’s SEC Teleconference that the Tigers would wear their purple jerseys in Nashville this weekend.

The Tigers wore purple jerseys in this past weekend’s 65-14 win against Northwestern.

“Our guys liked it.” Orgeron said. “I’m a traditionalist. I like the traditional uniform but sometimes we are going to go on the road. I think, this week, we will have to wear purple. So that’s what have to do. We’ll see what helmet we are going to wear, which helmet looks best and I’ll surprise the guys toward the end of the week.”
