For the second time this season, ESPN College Gameday will be at an LSU matchup.

The Gameday crew is set to hit Baton Rouge this weekend ahead of the Tigers game against the seventh-ranked Gators. And LSU is excited about it.

“Obviously, we're excited about this game, excited about ESPN Gameday being here,” LSU head coach Ed Oregon said at his Monday press conference. “7 p.m. Saturday night, Tiger Stadium, LSU-Florida…. It doesn't get much better than that. It's going to be a wonderful night for the LSU family of Tigers.”

N0. 5 LSU hosts the No. 7 Florida Saturday night in Tiger Stadium.

Orgeron said this matchup between undefeated teams will be a big one for his program in terms of recruiting.

“We have two big-time official visits coming in, as of now,” he said. “We talked to most of our recruits last night, we'll talk to more tonight. We are going to get as many recruits to this game as we can, so it will be a big night recruiting.”

The Tigers are coming off of a 42-6 win against Utah State where quarterback Joe Burrow threw five touchdowns in the victory. Still Orgeron thought the Tigers could improve.

“Although we scored 42 points, there were some things, ball security things that we have to get taken care of,” he said. “Some blocks that we missed, some balls, we missed some routes, our timing wasn't exactly like it’s been.

“We weren’t as sharp on offense. So it will be good to give us some things to work on this week.”

The Tigers could receive a boos this weekend as several players who were out for the game against the Aggies could return.

“Saahdiq Charles is going to play this week,” Orgeron said. “It was a coaching decision. Michael Divinity is going to practice this week. Hopefully he's ready. Rashard Lawrence is going to practice this week. Hopefully he's ready. Glen Logan is going to be limited this week. Don't know if he's going to be ready.”
