Joe Burrow said he wanted to do something special for LSU fans on senior night.

So when the No. 2 Tigers quarterback was honored along with his teammates prior to the 50-7 victory in Tiger Stadium Saturday, he came out in a jersey that added a little Louisiana flair to his name.

Burrow’s uniform read “Burreaux,” and as he was recognized ahead of the game the more than 100,000 fans in attendance showered the Heisman Trophy candidate with applause.

Burrow went on to complete 23 of 32 passes for 352 yards and three touchdowns breaking the SEC record for passing yards in a single season and tying the single-season passing touchdown record (44) as LSU (12-0, 8-0) routed the Aggies (7-5, 4-4).

Burrow connected with Justin Jefferson once and Ja’Marr Chase twice for scores.  Chase, a finalist for the Biletnikoff award, finished just three yards shy of his third 200 yard game of the season.

LSU’s defense was also dominant as the Tigers limited the Aggies to just 169 total yards and racked up 554 of their own.

Kary Vincent, Grant Delpit and JaCoby Stevens each logged interceptions in the game, and K’Lavon Chaisson, Marcel Brooks, Rashard Lawrence, Patrick Queen and Damone Clark each logged sacks in the win.
