New Orleans Saints safety Malcolm Jenkins is set to be the keynote speaker for the Philadelphia school system's virtual graduation the district announced Thursday.

Jenkins recently resigned with the Saints this offseason and playing the past years and winning a Super Bowl with the Philadelphia Eagles. Throughout his career, Jenkins has been very active in supporting students seeking higher education. Last week his foundation, in partnership with College Track awarded 20 students in the New Orleans area with a $1,000 scholarship.

Jenkins said then that it was important for him to give back to the communities he's been apart of.

“So that was the state of New Jersey where I am (originally) from, Ohio, where I played college ball (at Ohio State), Louisiana where I was drafted and spent five years with the Saints in that city. I really made it my home. And then obviously Pennsylvania, with my time with the Eagles," He said last week.
