Work begins to remove bodies from Hard Rock site

Crews today are starting the process of removing the rubble that has trapped two bodies inside the partially collapsed Hard Rock Hotel construction site for more than nine months.  

"The timeline remains on track... to begin recovery of our people's remains."

Mayoral spokesman Beau Tidwell says they hope to remove the remains by the end of this week.

"Chief McConnell has informed me it takes about four to five days usually, that would be the anticipation.  This all is assuming everything continues to go smoothly."

The partial collapse happened October 12th of last year.  Three people died.  One body was removed shortly after the incident.
