New Orleans Police say a 36-year-old woman has been arrested for killing a Danish tourist visiting the city.

Brandy Myles is facing a second-degree murder charge in the death of 44-year-old Poul Hansen.

Hansen was found May 18, shot in the head in New Orleans East. Police say he was shot to death shortly after 6 a.m. Saturday in the 4200 block of America Street.

He suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Hansen had been touring the United States with 15 other Danish veterans in a motorcycle club.

Myles was already in jail for unrelated charges in a neighboring jurisdiction when she was arrested on the murder charge. Police didn't give her home town or possible motive.

Hansen's family is being represented by Attorney Mads Pramming of Copenhagen. He said by email that he received information that Hansen's wallet and phone were missing when his body was found near his hotel.
