"Cold, raw, and windy"

We are about to get our coldest cold front yet, with temperatures dropping below freezing in some areas north of the lake later in the week.

"Tomorrow looking to be cold, raw, and windy," said WWL-TV Meteorologist Chris Franklin. "A few early showers, maybe a little bit of wintry mix up on the northshore."

And it really won't warm up during the day.

"We're going to stay in the 40s all day long on Tuesday," said Franklin, "and windy feeling more like the 20s and 30s."


Sun/cloud mix, warmer and more humid. Highs around 80. Wind SE 5-10 mph.

Cloudy, windy and turning colder with a 60% chance for scattered showers and a few thunderstorms. Lows north around 42 and south around 44, feeling like the 30s. Wind N 20-25 mph.

A 40% chance for morning rain then partly cloudy, windy and turning much colder. Morning temperatures falling to the 40s and staying in the mid 40s during the afternoon. Wind chill in the 30s all day. Wind N 15-25 mph.

Sunny and cold. Lows north around 26 with a hard freeze and south around 34 with frost. Highs around 51.

Mostly cloudy and not as cold with a 20% chance for a shower. Lows north around 36 with frost, and south around 41. Highs around 60.

Mostly sunny and not as cold. Lows north around 40 and south around 47. Highs around 62.

Sunny and cool. Lows north around 40 and south around 47. Highs around 65.

Partly cloudy and cool. Lows north around 45 and south around 50. Highs around 68.
