LSU senior associate athletic director Robert Munson says discussions with the SEC regarding Devin White’s first-half suspension for the Alabama game were amicable, but the suspension stands.

Chris Blair, the Voice of the Tigers, is still disturbed over the penalty and the punishment. He went to the SEC offices in Birmingham and inspected the War Room where they review controversial plays.

''It was a clean football play with arms out and, more importantly, eyes up, and the contact not coming from the crown of the helmet,'' Blair said.

He also questioned what officials were looking at,  in what he thinks should have been a roughing the passer penalty and not targeting.

''To me, contact was made prior to the helmets hitting, almost in an incidental way,'' said Blair.

There is a Go Fund Me page seeking money to pay for billboard space in downtown Birmingham, the home of the SEC offices. The billboard would read #FreeDevinWhite.
