The St. Tammany Parish Grand Jury has returned indictments on three people connected to the May 21st murder of a 24-year old Mandeville woman.

30-year-old Christopher Hickman from Bogalusa and Franklinton resident 40-year-old Raymond Magee are charged with second degree murder.

25-year-old Leanna Stewart of Mandeville is facing a charge of conspiracy to distribute heroin.

The indictments stem from the heroin overdose death of Cheyenne Leonard.  The Mandeville woman died in Covington.

Covington Police Detective Jessica Restel lead the investigation in cooperation with the Washington Parish Sheriff's Office.

There is no word whether the suspects were eligible for bail or when their case is set for trial.
