Suspects arrested for multiple narcotics, firearm violations

NOPD officers have arrested several suspects in connection with multiple narcotics and firearm violations that occurred in the Second District.

During the month of November, Second District task force officers, along with the Jefferson Parish narcotics division, conducted a joint surveillance throughout the Uptown and 7TH Ward area.

Following the arrest of the target of the operation, 37-year-old Jeffrey Lipitz, officers obtained a dual search warrant for the 1900 block of Washington Avenue and the 2000 block of Law Street.

On November 19, 2019, Second District task force officers served both warrants which resulted in the arrest of 23-year-old Robert Craig, 37-year-old Devin Harry, 33-year-old Ray Stevens, 38-year-old Nicholas Stackpoole and 38-year-old Keith Antonio.  The search also resulted in the confiscation of crack cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, two handguns and U.S. currency.
