Northshore teen girl charged with terrorizing school

Cops have arrested a student on the Northshore.

"A 14-year-old student from Lakeshore High School was arrested... after making statements that involved her intent to harm other students," Deputy Meredith Timberlake said in a news release. "School administrators notified the School Resource Officer of claims made by two students that another student was planning to harm other students."

She says the 14 year-old student was arrested for terrorizing and taken to Florida Parishes Juvenile Detention Center.

“We have made it very clear that threats like this will be taken seriously,” Sheriff Randy Smith said.  “We will continue to work with our schools and investigate any and all threats at our schools or to the students and faculty who attend them.  Parents I urge you, to please speak with your children about the seriousness of actions such as these.”
