Wall Street held to a fairly narrow range today, finishing just slightly lower to end the market’s five-session win streak.

Meanwhile, a nine-session streak of gains by oil prices is over. February crude fell $1, settling at $51.59 a barrel.

Royal Caribbean’s “Oasis of the Seas” cruise ship – after stops in Haiti and Jamaica -- is heading back to Florida. Its planned trip to Cozumel, Mexico, Thursday was cancelled after hundreds of passengers and crew members were infected with a norovirus. Original reports said 277 people fell ill, but the number has now been updated; at least 475 have been infected.

If you pop into a Starbucks today, you’ll hear tunes from the hit broadway musical “Hamilton.” Alexander Hamilton, a founding father and the nation’s first treasury secretary, was born on this date in 1757. So, today, all U-S Starbucks stores are playing songs from the Hamilton soundtrack and a Hamilton mixtape.
