The Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans says it needs more money from taxpayers to address the myriad of drainage issues across the city. Depsite the apparent need, not everyone is convinced.

Among the critics is H.J. Bosworth, a civil engineer with Levees.org. He says he doesn't trust the board with more money.

"We need to hold them accountable, to do the right thing, they are wasting our money and waiting our time by miscalculating resources," Bosworth said.

Bosworth says he's not along in his harsh position.

"I would say we don't give them a dime, what we are doing is encouraging bad behavior," said Bosworth.

Bosworth says they could save a lot of money if they would stop having crews working seven days a week 12 to 15 hours a day, he thinks more work could be done on weekdays.
