New Orleans Native Harry Connick Jr. is calling for a boycott of the Super Bowl after the admitted blown call that cost the Saints a trip to the big game.

One elected official is also suggesting that New Orleans celebrate the Saints during the game instead of watching it.

"Mardi Gras is late this year.  I am game if my colleagues are for having a Saints parade coordinated with Orleans and Jefferson," JP Councilman Chris Roberts said on Twitter. "We should have the parade smack during the Superbowl."

He says he is trying to guage interest from his colleagues today.

Reaction on Twitter has been positive.
