Sports Illustrated’s Ross Dellenger reports that the athletic directors of Southeastern Conference schools support the idea of a ten-game conference-only football schedule this season.

Presidents of the member universities will make the final decision tomorrow.

The Big 10 and the Pack 12 have also decided to play conference foes only as part of COVID-19 mitigation.

LSU is scheduled to start the season against non-conference UT-San Antonio Sept. 5 at Tiger Stadium.  They also have non-conference games scheduled this year against the Texas Longhorns, Rice Owls, and Nicholls State Colonels.
