Saints quarterback Drew Brees says breaking the NFL all time passing record was a "surreal moment."

He also told Hota Kotb and Craig Melvin that he told his son's they "can accomplish anything in life you are willing to work for" after the record breaking pass, because that was what was in his heart and he wanted the boys to remember that.

Brees said he wasn't ready to address his life after football because, "I'm having so much fun right now playing football... we've got goals to achieve."

The NLF's all time passing leader said he has a lot of things he wants to do in the next chapter, but made it clear he is not done writing the current one.

Saints Coach Sean Payton says he and Brees share the goal of winning another Super Bowl.
