It was a thriller in the Superdome last night with the Saints and the Houston Texans battling it out until the very end, with a 58-yard game winning kick from Will Lutz, to give the Black and Gold a 30-28 victory.

Saints fans were ecstatic and a little bit spent when it was finally over.

"We were sitting here the whole time and thinking, 'no way he makes this kick, and then he makes it,'" said this Saints fan.  "We were so excited."

"For the other team, they were probably saying, 'what just happened here,'" one woman laughed.

"Unbelievable finish, they made a lot of mistakes but they hung together,"  this man said.  "I'm proud of them.  "This is going to be a special year.  I gotta feeling."

"It was a nail-biter but I really thought they were going to pull it out," another Saints fan said.  "We always find a way to pull it out."

Fans were asked if they could give a game ball to one Saint, who would it be?

"You have to give it to the kicker, Will Lutz," said this man.

"Alvin Kamara had a great game," another fan said.  "Let's not forget Drew Brees."

Now the Saints get ready for the Los Angeles Rams in a short week, out on the west coast on Sunday.
