The Rolling Stones didn’t let Mick Jagger’s heart issue stop them from coming to New Orleans, and they won’t let Tropical Storm Barry stop them either. But they will wait a day.

“Due to the weather we’re moving Sunday’s Superdome show to Monday,” the band announced. “Hang onto your tickets, they will be honored on July 15. We’re here with you — we’ll get through this together.”

Doors open at 5:30pm and the show starts at 7:30pm.

This is the second time the Rolling Stones trip to New Orleans has been delayed. The band took a two month detour while Jagger underwent heart surgery and built his strength back up.

The Stones finally kicked off their No Filter tour on June 21st in Chicago, and have been packing their set lists with fan favorites as well as deep cuts. We had a chance to ask Mick what goes into picking the songs for a gig.

"If you play 50,000, there's a certain element of people that come to a show like that, that want you to play certain favorites" Jagger explained. “If you don't deliver those favorites, then a certain percentage of those people will be disappointed they didn't get what they wanted."
