When The Rolling Stones announced the cancellation of their upcoming No Filter Tour, including Jazz Fest, all we learned at the time was that Stones front man Mick Jagger had an unspecified health issue that forced him to cancel performing on doctor's orders. Today, The Drudge Report says it is because Jagger needs heart surgery.

The web site reports Jagger is scheduled to have heart valve replacement surgery in a New York City hospital this week. The 75-year-old is expected to make a full recovery and be back on stage by summer.

The procedure he is said to undergo has a 95 percent success rate.
