UPDATE: All parades tonight have been rescheduled due to high winds.

It might not be a rain-free evening for the people catching the parades early. WWL-TV meteorologist Payton Malone tells us showers will still be around as parades get started at 5:30.

"Rain showers are possible and it is going to be chilly and windy, those wind chills feeling like the 30s and 40s," Payton said. "The rain will eventually move out, probably after 8:00 p.m. or so."

But after a damp and chilly set of parades tonight, things look real good to start the weekend.

"Sunshine and cool temperatures as we head throughout your Friday and Saturday," said Payton, with 50s for highs tomorrow and Saturday, and mid-60s for Sunday.
