The Professional Fighters League is kicking off its post-season in New Orleans Friday night.

$10 million dollars is on the line in the bracket-style mixed martial arts playoff format.

The bouts start at 6 o'clock.

"Our playoff night is, I think, the most exciting night in fighting," says League President, Carlos Silva.  "All of these competitors are going to fight in the quarter-finals, and then they're going to come back back 30 minutes later and fight in the semi-finals."

"So, it's 'fight twice and win twice' in the same night. And the two finalists will then advance to Madison Square Garden and try to win a million dollars of our $10 million prize pool."

Silva promises a busy, action-packed night of mixed martial arts in the 'win-or-go-home' event.

"Friday night, there's going to be 14 bouts...all the quarter-final bouts of the 145-pound class, followed by all the quarter-final bouts of the heavyweights. And, then you'll have two semi-final bouts in each weight class."

"They made it through the regular season. And, now, these are the top 8 in each of the weight classes in this bracket-style event to try and advance through to the semis and through to the finals at the end of the year
