We're knee deep in the month of June now,  but how are prices at the pump?

AAA's Don Redman says we've seen prices not only stabilize but actually drop a couple of pennies since Memorial Day and barring anything major like a hurricane prices could at least hold steady.

"We could definitely later this month potentially see better news nationwide but certainly Louisiana, not any dramatic drops, we're not expecting a return to where we were this time last year which was about $2.16 a gallon, but we could see prices vacillate between $2.50 and $2.65 for the remainder of the summer," Redman said.

The statewide average is around 2.64 a gallon.  New Orleans around 2.60 a gallon.
